Hi Michael,

I am a college student in the U.S. I just recently bought one of your books in Japan and I thoroughly enjoy reading it! It's very eye-opening. I was so surprised when I read one of the 2 questions you asked yourself when you were young: "Why do people do what they do?" That is the exact question I am always wondering and my friends don't understand why I spend so much time thinking about this. Sometimes, however, I suffer tying to answer questions related to this question. But these questions really question the natural way of people and the answer is just "That's the way it is," but when I ask myself a question I have to answer. Now that I have learned that you must ask the right types of question and put your brain on your side rather than making it torture you with unpleasant answers. I thank you so much! I love learning about communication and I feel that now I can focus on what I want without bombarding myself with distracting questions. Thank you. I think you really found a terrific way of living!

Thanks for your post! I just want to share something which Joe Rubino shared about raising our self-esteem. Our self-esteem affects our relationship with others. We can raise our self-esteem by healing the past and stop reliving it, accept your life now and take inventory: what works, what doesn’t etc. and don’t let negative self talk sabotage your life.
