Michael Bolduc's life is a testament to the power and infinite potential of the human spirit. 

An Interrupted Childhood

At age 7 Michael's life took a traumatic turn when his father murdered his mother. As a result of the shock, Michael developed a chronic stuttering problem - a condition that caused his teachers to label him as a failure and a "troubled kid."

An Unpromising Adolescence

As a teenager, the resulting stigma damaged Michael's self-esteem to the point where he lost all confidence and frequently "acted out". 

After he dropped out of school at age 16, the relatives who had taken him in soon decided he was unmanageable and kicked him out. 

Unable to interview for work because of his speech disability, Michael turned to Canadian Social Services who assigned him a job that didn't require him to speak - working as a caretaker for a public golf course. 

Triumph and Renewal

For three years Michael continued to cut grass for a minimum wage income, but at age 19 his life took a dramatic turn when a friend suggested they both attend a motivational seminar conducted by famed speaker Zig Ziglar. It was there Michael was challenged when he heard Mr. Ziglar say, "Winners are made, not born!"

That single event prompted Michael to begin studying the principles of success and personal change. He became a voracious reader, and a fearless explorer of human potential. 

Eventually Michael retrained his speech patterns, and went on to become vice-president of one of the most well-known coaching companies in the world. 

Now he is a highly paid success coach and sought-after speaker with no trace of the stutter that caused others to judge him so harshly. 

Michael has dedicated his life to helping others break the chains of self-limiting beliefs and habits. He continues to further the Science of Achievement through his books, seminars and coaching programs.
